Nearly 75% of employers surveyed recently by Towers Watson said they are “somewhat” or “very concerned” they will trigger the ACA’s 40% excise tax on high-value health plans that will take effect in 2018, with 43% claiming that avoidance of the excise tax is their top health care strategy priority for 2015.
