CMS announces agent/broker webinar

July 25, 2013
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) scheduled an agent/broker webinar for Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. (EDT). Only licensed agents or brokers can register for the webinar.
In order to register, licensed agents or brokers must first register for a REGTAP account, by visiting www.regtap.info. Following registration, licensed agents and brokers may sign up for the webinar using the registration code provided below.
Please note that due to space limitations, REGTAP is encouraging associations with a large member base to arrange to have multiple agent/brokers attend the webinar in one location.
Webinar topics include:
*       Federally-facilitated Marketplace and Federally-facilitated SHOP registration: identity proofing and obtaining a user ID
*       Online training and testing
*       Pathways for application and enrollment of individuals, employers, and employees in the Federally-facilitated Marketplaces and Federally-facilitated SHOP
Where can I find more information?
Webinar registration is now open at www.REGTAP.info. Look under Training Events for Agent and Broker Participation in the Federally-facilitated Marketplaces. Registration for the webinar opened July 24. To participate, enter code ABTR5678; this code will be valid for agents and brokers who identified themselves as agents and brokers when they created their RegTap accounts.
