“What’s interesting [is that] for all the speculation at the beginning that the young invincibles would go for bronze plans, they and most others have gone for silver and gold plans. So there really does seem to be more of an appetite and demand for good coverage than the insurers first guessed when they thought price would be everything. While we still hear AHIP for example espousing copper plans, it is not clear to me there is really that much of a market for a plan that is less than a bronze plan.”
