According to a recent survey:

  • 82% of U.S. doctors want patients patients to actively participate in their own healthcare by updating their electronic health records.
  • 31% believe patients should have full access to their own electronic health records
  • 65% believe patients should have limited access to their own records
  • 4% say patients should have no access to their own health records
