27.3% of Consumers Use a Wearable Activity Tracker


Aloft Group recently released results from an analysis on telemedicine. Here are some key findings from the report:

47.7% of consumers said they were not familiar with the term "telemedicine."
Half (51.4%) reported having received an email or text from a clinician.
72.8% of those who emailed/texted say that the interaction was positive.
A total of 27.3% of respondents use a wearable activity tracker.
78.5% would be comfortable interacting with a physician via video or chat.
3 in 4 wearable device users use the data to initiate lifestyle changes.
