Hospital closures do not affect mortality, costs
An analysis of 195 hospital
closures found they did not affect mortality rates for Medicare patients,
researchers from the Harvard School of Public Health wrote in Health Affairs.
Closures also did not affect hospital admissions for Medicare patients, lengths
