According to a recent study of healthcare professionals

... including nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, surgeons and administrative personnel:

• 41% of survey respondents are dissatisfied with their current pay
• 45% say they have not received a pay raise in the past year
• 14% are making less than they were a year ago
• 68% said that they would change employers if it meant a pay increase
