Between January 2015 and January 2016,

... the healthcare sector added 36,800 jobs.

  • 6,000 of those jobs were gained in physician's offices
  • Dentists' offices lost 1,500 jobs
  • 23,700 jobs were gained in hospitals
  • Medical and diagnostic laboratories lost 3,700 jobs
