According to a recent report regarding employer-sponsored health insurance coverage (ESI):


  • The percentage of full-time nonelderly workers who were offered ESI decreased from 76% in 1999 to 72% in 2014.
  • The percentage of part-time nonelderly workers who were offered ESI decreased from 26% in 1999 to 21% in 2014.
  • The percentage of nonelderly persons who were enrolled in ESI decreased from 67% in 1999 to 56% in 2014.
