Growth in hospital prices outpaces inflation rate
The prices that hospitals
charge for common procedures increased by more than 10% between 2011 and 2013,
CMS data show. The growth was more than twice the rate of inflation. The data
also show that some 950,000 doctors and health care providers received $90
