More than 100 small employers have made coverage available to workers through

...Washington state's Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP), the state-based exchange said June 4. Beginning in November, as called for by the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Washington Healthplanfinder Business will make the exchange available to employers with up to 100 workers. The exchange is now open only to businesses with 50 or fewer workers. Two statewide health insurance carriers — Moda Health Plan and UnitedHealth Group — have expressed interest in offering health plans statewide on the exchange this fall and Kaiser Permanente has applied to offer health plans in Clark and Cowlitz counties.
