Child Stats recently released an analysis on the health and well-being of American children. Here are some key findings from the report:

From 2013-2014, 89% of
children ages 5-11 had a dental visit in the past year.
·
The number of children
under age 11 who had a dental visit in the past year increased 8% from
2000-2014.
·
87% of adolescents
ages 12-17 had a dental visit in the past year in 2014.
·
The number of
adolescents who had a dental visit in the past year increased 7% from
2000-2014.
·
9 in 10 white children
had a dental visit in 2014, compared with 88% of Black and 87% of Hispanic
children.
·
84% of Black, 84% of
Asian, and 81% of Hispanic adolescents had a dental visit in 2014.
