According to a recent report, between 2013 and 2015 ...

... the percentages of employers offering at least one self-insured health plan have changed as follows:

  • small employers with fewer than 100 workers increased 7% (from 13.3% to 14.2%)
  • midsized employers with 100 to 499 workers increased 19% (from 25.3% to 30.1%)
  • large employers with more than 500 workers decreased 4% (from 83.9% to 80.4%)
